my body unfinished, unruly.
thread woven tree, missing bark.
sap & all its family. if i am to slip
from a branch, let it be broken.
my body. let it be mangled
by the earth & set for release.
my body, if only a vessel
for another body,
the one cracked eggshell
& released by the breaking
of the former. if only not breaking,
but truth.
